That just specifies the default key so you could right click and hit your "B" key. You will notice the "&" in the context menu entry ("&Blank"). (You can change this in the reg file if you want it to say something else.

Next to the box entitled Actions, click New and enter "Clear File" for the Name. Highlight the m2ts file type, and click Advanced. Select Folder Options from the Tools menu in My Computer or Explorer, and click the File Types tab.Ģ. I also added it to the right-click contect menu for Windows Explorer and now it works even better. I placed both files in my programs directory and here's what I now have in off It tried it but it didn't work at first, but then I realized that the blank.file had to reside in the folder with the files that are being cleared, so I changed the reference to the blank file in blanker.bat to an absolute path. It's so not what the studios want, but it's what I want, and when I'm watching a movie, it's on *MY* time. Right to the menu, click play, movie begins. Not even the silly animations after the movie credits. I don't even keep the ratings screens, nor the Fox, Universal, Sony, or whatever intros.

Some movies are divided among two or more video files, so I'm sure to keep the entire series of files that belong to the the actual movie. I replace all the video files with empty files, except for the menu and the actual movie. Nothing misses a beat because as far as the disc is concerned, the video file was played without incident and the disc moves on to the next video file in the play list. When I replace the video files that I don't want to see with empty files, the video players still play the files but you never see them because they are skipped before they begin since the files have no video frames. Once the video file is done playing, the disc moves to the next video file. When the disc forces you to see something, all it is doing is playing a video file and disabling your ability to skip it or fast forward.
